El Classico – 2018

On May 5, 2018, LaLiga held the 2018 el Classico. It was between FC Barcelona and FC Real Madrid. El Classico has been held for years and is always held after a LaLiga season.

This year, FC Barcelona tied against FC Real Madrid 2 – 2. The first goal was from FC Barcelona. Suarez got an assist from Messi and put it in the top corner of the goal. Then, FC Real Madrid came back scoring a goal. This time, Benzema tried to make a goal, but Pique touched the ball out. Unlucky for Barcelona, Christiano Ronaldo just headed the rebound. He twisted his ankle and couldn’t play for the rest of the match.

Then after halftime, Messi cut in with his left, and shot the ball on the ground it went in. This made the score 2 – 1. Then, in the last 5 minutes of the game, Bale gets an assist, kicks it to the top corner. This makes the score 2 – 2.

It was a very cool game. I am a big fan of Messi. I was happy that he gave an assist and scored a goal.
