ISL Final

I was so disappointed when Bengaluru FC lost to Chenayin FC in the 2018 ISL final. Bengaluru FC has been the top team in the ISL. Chennayin, on the other hand, is strong but were in third place. It was a surprise win (3 – 2) for everybody including me. ISL (Indian Super League) is a professional football league in India.

This year the ISL matches started late so I never got to finish watching all the matches in India. Last year, ISL started early so I could even watch the finals when I was in India. I thought that I could watch matches in the U.S, but I found out that no channel had ISL matches. I ended up searching the internet for the match schedule, standings, and recent scores. I called my grandfather in India to discuss recent matches.

My favorite team is Kerala Blasters. Kerala Blasters is my home team. They were a good team, but they ended up in the 5th position, so they couldn’t qualify for the semifinals. Since Kerala Blasters got out, I supported Bengaluru FC, my second favorite team, and the top in the ISL. I specially liked them because they had Miku and India’s national team captain, Sunil Chhetri.They won the semifinals and went to the finals, but, as I mentioned earlier, Bengaluru FC lost to Chennayin FC.
